About Fremont Dog Plaza

Hi! Welcome to the Fremont Dog Plaza, we are happy you found your way here. Our mission is simple: facilitate a safe environment for you and your dog. Every day we strive to keep small and large play groups separate and safe. We offer boarding, daycare, and grooming services, and our model is not centered around staying only at the facility — we take dogs on group walks too, walking every dog in our facility every day. These walks may last 45 minutes or up to 3 hours depending on the weather and the activity level of the dogs.

After dogs have been active, we offer naptime every day from 3 PM to 6 PM for the health of your dog. This helps ensure they are not overworked or stressed by intense play. During active playtime, dogs may become stinky, and when a dog plays with us enough days each month, we may offer a free grooming. You can accept or decline the grooming, but dogs with excessive smell or poor hygiene may be turned away from care for the health and safety of other dogs.

Fremont Dog Plaza began in 2016 under the name Dog Dude Taylors. Taylor originally only wanted to spend more time with his dog, Scout, and began walking and boarding dogs in Seattle’s CapHill neighborhood. Scout and Taylor walked together for almost two decades. After years of walking, meeting clients, and building memories, Scout passed away in August 2021 at the age of 18. Taylor continues that mission today through Fremont Dog Plaza, working with dogs, growing the business, and building a positive place for dogs and their families.
